"Given the cross-cutting nature of peace and conflict, the need to mainstream conflict sensitivity in government business at all levels cannot be overemphasized. Dr. Julie Sanda.
"As I sit down and look at how to bring solutions to problems, how do I do it in such a way and manner that minimizes the chances that there will be conflict. And how do I do it in such a way and manner that maximizes the possibility of bringing good to the people " Gov. Caleb M. Mutfwang.
The aforementioned are excerpts from the opening ceremony of a 2-day Conflict Sensitivity Workshop and Retreat for Senior Government Officials in Plateau State.
Organized by the PPBA, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, FCDO, Institute for Integrated Transitions, IFIT, and the Middle Belt Brain Trust, MBBT, the workshop had Lt. Gen. Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd ), amongst other seasoned experts, moderating the sessions and syndicate group presentations.
It was indeed a moment of learning and experience sharing.
PPBA will continue to work until we build a Plateau that is at peace with itself and the rest of the world.
