PPBA HOLDS SERIES OF CONSULTATIVE MEETINGS WITH CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS IN OUTGOING WEEK

It was a busy week at Plateau Peace Building Agency PPBA, as the week started with the Director General, Mr. Joseph Lengmang on Monday, who played host to some of our stakeholders from the Community Peace Architecture Forum, CPAF, located in Riyom, Bokkos and Shendam Local Government Areas, covering the Northern, Central and Southern Senatorial Zones of Plateau State respectively.

The activity brought to the fore some of the success stories recorded in those locations since the commencement of CPAF, under the GIZ-PEACECORE Project and also fashioned out ways to consolidate on the recorded gains, going forward.

Simultaneously, staff of the PPBA also had a refresher training on the Result-Based Management (RBM) System to keep them up to speed with the implementation of the ongoing PEACECORE project.

Similarly, on Wednesday and Thursday, the ICT and Peace Education Units of the Agency also had consultative meetings with social media influencers, consisting of bloggers and other online media enthusiasts, as well as, Education Secretaries, Area Directorate and other staff of the Ministry of Education to develop the framework for the coordination of Peace clubs in public primary and secondary schools in Plateau State, in that order.

Our collaborative partnership with GIZ,German International Cooperation through the PEACECORE Project is no doubt yielding results and making the desired impact in our communities.
